On smooth sealed surfaces a spread rate of 8 - 10 sq metres per litre is obtained per coat.
Ensure that the surface to be coated is free of dirt and loose material. Prime friable surfaces with Plaster Primer or Bonding Liquid prior to coating, at a spread rate of 8 – 10 sqm per litre, allowing 6 – 8 hours drying time.
Apply with lambs-wool roller or good quality brush.
Sound fibre cement roof sheets or cement roof tiles need not be primed prior to coating.
Pre-wetting of these substrates before coating ensures that a good spread rate is achieved.
Galvanized iron roofs should be degreased prior to coating.
To ensure maximum coating life span, always apply two coats allowing 4 – 6 hours drying time between coats.
Dilution & Clean up
Use only clean water to dilute this product. This should not however exceed 5% on the first coat only as the product is supplied ‘ready to use’. Soapy water can be used for the clean-up.
