WeatherPrufe Water-Based Plaster Primer

WeatherPrufe Water-Based Plaster Primer is a high-performance primer designed to prepare new plaster and masonry surfaces for painting. Formulated with excellent surface penetration and alkali resistance, it ensures a strong bond between plaster substrates and the chosen topcoat. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, this primer is quick-drying, environmentally friendly, and has low VOC and odour levels, making it safe and easy to work with.

It is ideal for application on sound, dry masonry, cretestone, skim plaster, and rhinolite. With a spread rate of 8–10m² per litre per coat on smooth sealed surfaces, only one coat is needed before overcoating with a WeatherPrufe topcoat. Drying time is 2–4 hours, allowing for efficient project turnaround.
